This account exists to appreciate the hard work of modders and to criticize and spoon-feed the population that doesn't read mod descriptions and or 'readme' files before claiming a mod is broken or 'bad'.
If you have any questions regarding GTA SA or GTA IV mod installing, I might just be able to help you!
Not much else though, I constantly look for mods that are high quality and match the lore of the game. Although some meme/off-topic mods are quite funny though.

Welcome to class. Before you try installing this mod, know regardless of your opinion if you complain about a mod breaking your game, you either didn't install it correctly, or you didn't make a backup of your working game. Either way it is your fault and nobody else's.
Also if you want to know (Yes) this works, (But) the installer here is incorrectly done. This mod is supposed to contain a simple .oiv file for OPENIV, for some reason the format is not correct on this page so you need to use the zip from gtaall under the same name, added by the user "milcin7"
After you get the .ZIP file from this you unpack it, and you go to OPENIV, you go to the toolbar (With file, edit, view, for example) dropdown windows. You look for the "tools" dropdown and you open "Package installer" which you then use the opened file explorer to select "Blood overhaul IV.oiv" which will then take you to the OPENIV built in installer.
Main points:
1. The file here isn't properly configured
2. You should make backups of your working modded or unmodded game, if you don't, you obviously don't listen to advice and you don't read help files or advice, which is why this is #2 and not #1.
3. I am using the 1080 version that's downgraded as such.
4. Learn to compare and contrast different installs of a mod if it isn't working but appears otherwise complete, because sometimes mistakes happen and you have to find a download somewhere else.
5. Don't talk to me if you have a issue with any of this.
Goodnight and I hope some of you learned something that most gamers here don't learn, which is read and look around, and don't complain until you've put in some work figuring stuff out, and take advice from experienced mod users, as I do, so I don't have to be a brat in the comments making a fuss about an issue that could be prevented if I just made a backup copy of the game.
Cope and seethe if any of you find this unfair, hopefully this comment will cement in some of yous minds that you need to follow instructions and not impulsively copy and paste.
Hats off and appreciation to the people who actually tried downloading from this page and attempting to install this to their game (properly) but obviously couldn't because of the file issue.
"Step 1 Download OpenIV (https://openiv.com) and install it
Step 2 Install the Blood overhaul IV.oiv that's inside the rar folder."
Read the instructions, unless you want to join the Angzoe teaches users how to read basic install instructions and descriptions kindergarten.
Hey! Loving the mod so far, one question for you though when and if you have the time or know.
I'm using the Real Cop System by Mohit Robinson v1.2 and anytime I enter a Taxi (to ride) I'll get flagged by the police for I'm guessing vehicle theft.
This is obviously a mod incompatibility at no fault to you, but is there anything at the least I can do to try and curb around this?
For some reason the cops refuse to use their voice lines with this mod.
I don't know if I'm the only one, but if anyone has encountered this and or found a fix I'd be in your debt
I've been trying around to get this mod working for me (As it looks great and from what I can tell this is a me-issue that isn't from the mod)
Project Props works, but then once this is installed the game refuses to load a save past the succession of the visual loading bar. This issue can be uninstalled but if there's any info/crash logs I can provide I'd be happy to follow
