Will this mod negtively effect my -fps ??

Well, I tried to play without all my other commands now. I only used your two commands but the game still freezes every 10 seconds.

I also made a benchmark test and my medium FPS is 44!

The graphic settings are all ok, but the game still keeps freezing with a black screen everytime.

And the game works fine with the ultimate graphic tweak only. But if I use your mod, too, the game begins to freezing every 10 seconds again.

no the problem is not my mod, but GTA4 being a very strange game to setup.

You should try run the game with ONLY the commandlines I suggested. Norestrictions and nomemrestrict is known to cause problems.

I think it must be a problem with your mod because it doesnt freeze without your mod :/

reflection detail is already on medium :P

I could solve the problem with the textures popping up with the "-memrestrict 629145600" command.

But now the game hangs about 2 times a minute. First it hangs, the screen turns to black and it continues after a moment.

Dunno what that should be. My graphic settings should be ok, it doesnt lag during the gameplay but I got that annoying hang ups.

yes I know I need high texures to ;), you can try set your reflection quality to medium and see if it helps, then if that doesn't work try add this to you commandline:

(this is mostly for those with 512 mb. vram)

viewdistance is on 1, of course,
the rest is set to middle, except for texture quality for example, got it on high (I need that! ^^)

The problem seems to be the memory leak, I will try some solutions now

are your view distance at 1?

but the point is that GTAIV works fine without your mod. GTAIV + ultimate graphic tweak works fine, too.

now I got the problem that the game hangs up after a while and I got a lot of popping up bugs and not shown textures, then the game crashes. I tried to remove the popcycle and my frame rate is fine, what could be the problem? :o

Well it seems to work fine now after a rstart, I will check it later.

BTW the reason for you should try a low view distance is because of the farclip which draws the long distance things around you.

you can allso try delete the popcycle.dat from this folder:
GTA environment mod v2commondata in the MODS directory before installing the mod with JSGME. This will get the number of peds back to normal.
