The G3 is a 7.62×51mm NATO battle rifle developed in the 1956 by the German armament manufacturer Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K). The Heckler and Koch G3SG/1 is a modified version of the H&K G3 Battle Rifle used as a sniper weapon.
