This mod tries to mimick the look & feel of the original GTA San Andreas on PS2 By adding more warm and vibrant colors to the DEFINITIVE Edition (Trilogy), and restoring the old thick atmosphere.
Please note:
It's a bit saturated: As you may know, the PlayStation2 port of the game was way saturated and heavy on post processing like bloom, glaire and lens flare effects compared to the original PC version which tends to look more natural same as XboX 360 Remastered version.
This is an early Alpha build: My main objective now is to get the closest result as possible to the original, later I will optimise performance with the less amount of filters.
Technical limitations: In the original version (vanilla) Rockstar has made different color grading profiles for different conditions like: Time of day, Weather, Location etc... but since this mod is just about an external injector then it can not be scripted so. As for now I made a more generic preset that fits to the most common condition which is "Sunny / Day / Exterior". However I will try to create various presets that are optimised for each condition where user can to toggle between them.
RTGI: qUINT RayTracing GI filter is nor provided within the package as it's restricted with author copyrights, you can download it either from:
http://www.patreon.com/mcflypg v0.26 (5$ donation).
http://archive.org/details/reshadertgi0230 v0.23 (for free).
Reshade: The tool and the effects library also have to be downloaded separately (only the preset option files are allowed on Nexus), for the best compatibility please check and download all the filters (shaders) when you are installing the tool.
For better results: Please decrease the contrast from the game's graphics menu, disable the native bloom and AntiAliasing options.
How to install ?
Just copy the RAR content inside the game executable directory.
How to edit:
Multiply sign * to open Reshade Menu.
Minus sign - to toggle the effect on/off
