GTA San Andreas is known for engine issues and various bugs caused by new hardware's capability to run the game at higher framerates. Typically, above an FPS of 35-45, the strafing is bugged and will be unresponsive.

This mod was originally created to solve this issue in 2011 by whitetigerswt. However, I've made a small edit so that it functions properly with edited weapon.dat files which have CJ grip pistols and SMGs with both hands.

There are other alternatives to this such as a variable frame lock in MixSets by Junior_DJJR, but this script is what I use. As for the code, I've just omitted several conditional statements. Everything written in the script is the work of whitetigerswt. I've made some omissions so it can function under different circumstances. If you do not have a weapon.dat that is edited for CJ to use a two-handed grip, it is recommended to use the original:
