The styling is modern and aggressive, conveying the long and storied Maserati heritage forward into a new era. A quick glance at the dashboard will confirm this blending of old and new, as the traditional blue-faced analog gauges flank a central LED shift indicator. Then there are the sounds made by the throaty dual exhaust, which would impress the famous Maserati racers of yore as much as they wow modern drivers. Spooling up the quick-revving V8 is a real treat, and while the GranTurismo S isn’t designed to be a racecar, it’s perfectly at home on a twisty course.
