This trolleybus was built by Rocar Bucharest under the Italian "De Simon" license. #161 was brought to the city of Piatra Neamt to be used by S.C Troleibuzul S.A from ex company RATC Constanta, back in 2015. Nowadays, the future of such trolleybuses like 161 is vague, since SC Troleibuzul SA decided back in October 2019 to simply stop using trolleybuses. There is a ton of reasons why.
