GTA V Decent FPS config for Integrated Graphics
1.) Description
This should help you get decent FPS if you're on integrated graphics, such as Intel HD 4000.
This will NOT get you banned from GTA Online either as it isn't a script and it DOESN'T replace any files.
Place settings.xml in:
C:\Users\(yourname)\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V
Place commandline.txt in:
If you have the Steam version:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\
If you have the Rockstar Games Social Club version:
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\
Using this, I get an average of 20 - 40 FPS anywhere, with 20 being in "heavily populated" areas and 40 being in quiet areas, such as the countryside at a good resolution of 1280x720!
2.) Other tips for higher FPS:
Close down ANY programs you're NOT using.
Check my video in the archive on how to configure your system for "maximum performance"
Change the resolution of GTA 5 to something lower.
Change the frame scaling from 1/3 (x0.667) to 1/2 (x0.005) (But this will make it look really, really, really horrible. I wouldn't recommend 1/2 frame scaling unless you're really, really desperate.)
