This mod changes the performance of all vehicles to be more realistic. Many vehicle specific changes were made and a great deal of time/effort when into this. Changes include...

Land/Water Vehicles:
Real top speeds
Real damage
Real 4X4 for off-road vehicles
Increase power on vehicles that needed it
Suspension lifted on off-road vehicles that needed it
Engine water stall level set to snorkel inlet on Merryweather Jeep & Dubsta
Monster trucks can now crush cars and float on water
V8/V6 engine sound swap on some vehicles that needed it

Aircraft:
Real top speed for helicopters and propeller driven planes
Jets can reach maximum possible speed (358MPH)

Install Instructions:
Use OpenIV to open game files (Always make backups of your original files!)
Replace handling.meta in Update>Update.rpf>Common>Data
Replace vehicles.meta in Update>Update.rpf>Common>Data>Levels>GTA5

I suggest using a speedometer with this mod.

Known Issues:
Jets will not decelerate from max speed at high altitudes. When this happens, you can just lower your altitude as if you are going to land and the jet will begin to decelerate.
