Soviet and Russian 152-mm divisional self-propelled howitzer. Developed at the Ural plant of transport engineering. Chief designer of ACS — Yuri V. tomášov, 152-mm gun 2А64 — G. I. Sergeev. SAU 2S19 is designed for destruction of tactical nuclear means, artillery and mortar batteries, tanks and other armored vehicles, anti-tank weapons, manpower, air defense and missile defense control and to destroy field fortifications, and obstruction of the maneuvers of enemy reserves in the depth his defense.
