[ELS] Unmarked Chevrolet SS

Today, I bring you another uncommon police vehicle (except in Fort Lauderdale, thanks @J T). This is the 2014 Chevrolet SS. Exported from Australia, the Holden Commodore VF dominates US roads as the Chevrolet SS. Featuring an LS3 V-8, this sedan might not look like a muscle car, but once the gas is floored, you'll be going 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Boasting a monstrous 415 brake horsepower, the Chevrolet SS is GM's attempt to revive it's predecessor, the Pontiac G8. GM saw that the G8 was just beginning to produce satisfying sales, but the federal government told them to axe Pontiac, thus putting an end to GM's sport division. Then, when the Caprice was announced, GM said that the G8's legacy would persist through the Caprice. Then, in 2014, the SS was imported in an attempt to give Chevrolet its footing in the rear-wheel-drive V-8 muscle sedan market. In doing so, the legacy of the long lost G8 would live on for another 3 years. Ultimately, in 2017, the SS was discontinued due to poor sales as a result of a lack of marketing and sky-high price, albeit loaded with standard features. Only the good die young.
