IV Side-Activities

Have you ever played through the game and then got bored because there was nothing left to do? This mod brings you fun and unique side-activities that you can play at any time! They aren't story-related in any way, and are mostly 3D era and Saints Row style activities that make zero sense but are fun to play.

Made entirely with IV-SDK, compatible with game versions 1.0.8.0 and 1.0.7.0.

Side-activity list:
Stunt Show (SP & MP)
Basically the stunt mode from Crashday, get as many points as possible from flying, flipping, rolling and generally making havoc around the city with your car.

Derby (SP & MP)
Heavily inspired by FlatOut 2, this activity pits you against 9 opponents in the Meadows Park arena. Cars explode instantly upon their health bar getting drained, and you're disqualified if you don't hit anyone for 15 seconds.

Car Thefts (SP & MP)
The ultimate map knowledge challenge, there are 7 cars Stevie wants you to get, and this time all you have is a single picture per car. While this may seem simple, it can take 4 hours or more if you don't know your way around Liberty too well. More cars will likely be added in the future to keep it challenging.

Races (SP only)
Have you ever wondered what'd happen if the worst AI in existence was pitted against you in a 64 car race? This activity is exactly that and it's an absolute clusterf*ck. Inspired by Re-Volt's Clockwork Carnage mode.

High Jump (SP & MP)
Another activity from the FlatOut series, you can launch yourself out of your car at any angle, and with this you have to hit the LC24 tower as high above the ground as you can.

Stone-Skipping (SP & MP)
With the same system as High Jump, skip across the ocean as far as you can. Apart from points for distance traveled, a bounce also gives +100 points.

Insurance Fraud (SP & MP)
Straight from Saints Row, throw yourself into as many things as possible to rack up a crazy cash bonus.

Pursuit (SP only)
NFS Most Wanted but with more explosions. Aside from bounty, there are also objectives such as trading paint, destroying cop vehicles and pursuit length.

Drift (SP & MP)
Drift a modified Sabre Turbo down the streets of Liberty City, getting as many points as possible. Stacking drifts can lead to insane combos which multiply points gained.

Bowling (SP & MP)
Roman's favorite game except the pins are 10 times as large and you're the bowling ball. Launch yourself into the pins and knock down as many as possible.

Lowrider (SP only)
The classic minigame from SA now in IV, complete with hydraulics.

Classic Races (SP & MP)
Drive circles around Algonquin as fast as possible while avoiding traffic. You're on a timer, completing a lap will give you an extra 80 seconds.

Bomb Run (SP & MP)
A bomb is strapped to your car, which will explode if your car's speed drops below the minimum shown on the HUD. Go through as many checkpoints as possible without blowing up. Each checkpoint increases the minimum speed by 10km/h.

Survival (SP & MP)
Survive against an endless onslaught of enemies for as many waves as possible. Kills give points that you can use to restock between waves.

Capture the Flag (SP & MP)
16 cars pitted against each other in a capture the flag match, what could possibly go wrong?

Return the Flag (SP & MP)
Same as CTF but the objective is to bring the flag to a marked dropoff point 5 times.

Jamboree (SP & MP)
A random checkpoint is picked out of many each time, and the first car to go through it will get a point. Go through 15 checkpoints to win.

Checkpoint Hunt (SP & MP)
Go through as many checkpoints as possible before anyone else does. Each checkpoint will deactivate after a car passes through it.

Pathfinder (SP & MP)
Go through all checkpoints as fast as possible.

Pass the Bomb (SP only)
A bomb is strapped onto a random car and is set to explode in 30 seconds. Pass it on by ramming another car, the last person to pass it on before it explodes gets 3 points. Everyone else gets 1 point, except for the victim, who gets none.

Map Guesser (SP & MP)
You're given a random location on the map and have to mark it with a waypoint. The closer your guess, the more points you get.

Time Trial (SP only)
No traffic, no obstructions, just you and a marked route in the city. There are 4 medal times you can beat, finish the track as fast as possible.

Speedtrap (SP only)
A race of up to 8 cars around a set of speedtraps, the racer with the highest total recorded speed wins.
