The GTA modding scene is very active for many years and countless modders put a lot of their free time in the creation of mods. GTAinside is working like a marketplace within the GTA scene: Modders are able to present their work globally to a wide audience of fans and our visitors can search our database for more than 36,000 modifications. Every single modification is free and can be downloaded very fast.
Unfortunately, stealing and the use of components or entire mods without the author’s permission is actually a problem for many years: That’s why some uploaded mods include material derived from other mods without any permission.
GTAinside wants to help fighting stealing in order to pursue a “fair use of GTA Modding" philosophy: It is all about a fair and honest use of modifications which were made from the community for the community. GTAinside stands up for a free and fair modding scene which respects the needs and rights of each creator.
For this reason, any signed in user has the opportunity to report stolen modifications very easily from now on: Each detail page contains a link that leads to a report form. This link can be found at the lower end of the left menu under "message". After entering the required information, you can send a report to us. We will review the report in the next few days and will contact you via email. If we could not resolve the matter, the reported modification is publicly marked and the community can discuss whether the message was justified or not.
We hope that this approach will meet the efforts and endeavors of the hard-working modders. Thank you very much for your support!
